Families First Weekend House league Tournament

The Riverside Rangers invite your team to play in their non checking Families First weekend House league Tournament to be played at the WFCU Centre (Home of the Windsor Spitfires Major Junior “A” Hockey Club) in Windsor Ontario, Canada February 17-19, 2012. Windsor is located on the Canada, United States border across the Detroit River from Detroit Michigan. In addition to the tournament being a great experience for participating Novice, Atom, Peewee and Bantam hockey players, the Windsor/Detroit area provides many opportunities for the players and their families to enjoy their stay in Windsor during the tournament.

This is a non-checking house league tournament sanctioned by the Ontario Minor Hockey association. The tournament will be played in four divisions:

Novice (2003 & 2004 birth year players)

Atom (2001 & 2002 birth year players)

Peewee (1999 & 2000 birth year players)

Bantam (1997 & 1998 birth year players)

All teams are guaranteed to play three games.

Each division will consist of two groups. The Top team in their group will advance from the Round Robin to the Championship game. Medals will be awarded to all players and coaches of teams competing in the Championship Game in each division.

All teams must provide an Approved Roster from their sanctioning body (OMHA, Alliance, etc.) Affiliated Players (AP) must be approved and from the division below, only. Please see our “Tournament Rules” for complete details. The above notes are subject to change without notice and are dependant on the number of teams that we enter in the tournament.

Tournament entry fee: $ 500.00. There are no admission fees for spectators. Please enclose your entrance fee and accompany your application with information about your teams’ past season, league played in, league standing, tournaments entered etc..
