What Makes RMHA Houseleague the best? Riverside Minor Hockey takes pride in our Houseleague program and considers it to be the best in Essex County. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun environment for all our Houseleague players from 4yrs old through to 19yrs old.
We offer several programs for our members including Player Development and Goalie Clinic (free to members).
RMHA also hosts the Families First Houseleague tournament held over the Family Day weekend in February and the famous Hockey Day in Canada "12-minute" tournament for all our Houseleague teams. This worthy event will cost you a donation of a non-perishable food item, all of which is collected and turned into the Downtown Mission.
Through the course of a busy hockey season you can check out the main sites for each of our Divisions from Tyke through to Midget/Juvenile for all the scores, standings and news pertaining to that age group. We will keep our entire membership notified of upcoming events through the main RMHA site or here on the Houseleague News page.
RMHA Houseleague teams are allocated 2hours of ice per week for their games and practices. In the event of any disruption or exemptions from the City, we make every effort to accommodate the lost ice.
We run a FULL season starting after Labor Day through to the end of March.
Our Tyke players will each receive a brand new Timbits jersey and sox to keep!
RMHA Houseleague is run out of ONE facility: the WFCU Center. We're your one-stop shop: hockey and a Tim Horton's all under one roof! What more could you ask for.
We welcome any suggestions or comments you may have regarding our Houseleague program as it is our aim to always listen and improve our programs wherever we can.
